JANUARY 2026 NEWSLETTER

Good Evening,

I’m pleased to share some exciting news on behalf of Congressman Finstad. As you may know, a few moments ago the U.S. Senate passed the Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026. Specifically, this legislation includes $800,000 thousand for the City of Pemberton for the Distribution System Repairs for their Community Project funding request.

This funding reflects the Congressman’s strong support for your efforts to enable the community to repair the city’s drinking water storage, well house, distribution system, and stormwater conveyance. Thank you for your partnership throughout the last several months in working with our office to demonstrate the impact this project will have on the community. The Congressman was proud to advocate for it throughout the appropriations process.

Once the bill is signed into law and the funding is released through the Department of the Interior, our office will stay in touch to help navigate next steps for implementation and coordination with the relevant agency. Additionally, Rep. Finstad will plan on calling Mayor Spielman tomorrow to

Thank you, again, for your continued partnership, and we look forward to working with you moving forward. As always, don’t hesitate to reach out if we can answer any questions.

Meagan
