2025 CITY WIDE CLEAN-UP DAY
Things will be handled like last year. There will NOT be any LJP trucks picking up your items on the Boulevard! Please abide by the following rules!
Four roll-off dumpsters will be located at the Main Street Plaza to collect your items on
Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th
Residences are required to BRING THEIR ITEMS to Main Street Plaza parking lot and put the items all the way into the LJP Waste & Recycling dumpsters themselves!
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS
• GENERAL NON-HAZARDOUS HOUSEHOULD WASTE…’JUNK’
• FURNITURE ITEMS (couches, chairs and tables etc.)
• CARPET and DRIED OUT PAINT CANS
• All items should be bagged, boxed or contained in a manageable manner.
• If items can be recycled, please do so in the appropriate manner.
• LJP Waste and Recycle reserves the right to refuse any items they deem unacceptable.
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS
• NO MATTRESSES OR BOX SPRINGS OR HIDE-A-BED COUCHES
• NO TIRES
• NO YARD WASTE… including, grass clippings, shrubs, plants, tree limbs, leaves, branches, etc.
• NO HAZARDOUS WASTE…including paints, liquids, chemicals, batteries, etc.
• NO MOTOR OIL, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS, REMODELING MATERIALS, ETC…. Including oil filters, petroleum products or petroleum product containers, fluorescent lights, incandescent light bulbs, cement, asphalt, drywall, siding or remodeling, demolition or construction materials.
COLLECTION TAGS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE BELOW ITEMS. Collection Tags are available at City Hall. Purchase your Collection Tags before 1 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
APPLIANCES (Residential – Non-Commercial Units ONLY).
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES (without Freon): $40 each.
Includes: Stoves, Ovens, Microwaves, Washing Machines, Dryers, Dish Washers, Water Heaters and Water Softeners
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES (with Freon) $45 each.
Includes: Refrigerators and Freezers (doors off), Window A/C Units, Dehumidifiers
ELECTRONICS
VCRs and DVD PLAYERS: $21 each.
Printers: $23 each.
Copiers and Fax Machines: $29 each.
Portable TVs and Monitors: $50 each.
Console TVs and Console Stereos: $80 each.
